Continuing Education for Recertification
Any individual certified will need to recertify in 3 years and may do so through showing that they have participated in educational and professional seminars, whether offered by ECFC or another approved CFCI-taught source.
At the present time, a recertification examination is not contemplated. CFCI recertification requires 45 hours over 3 years and 25 for CFC recertification. The number of instruction or teaching hours required is significant because the Academy feels that flex is evolving quickly through the practice and interpretations of the law by officials.
The CFC Recertification fee for employees of ECFC members is $150.00. The CFC Recertification fee for non-members is $300.00.

To receive credit for CFCI-taught courses that are NOT ECFC conferences, please register the course, hours and instructor. There is a $10 per hour charge per student.
