Testimonials

“The ECFC conference is a must attend event for someone in our business. As a TPA, the greatest challenge is not what you don’t know but what you don’t know, you don’t know… and that scares the heck out of me.  Not only do the ECFC conferences and webinars provide education but of equal value is networking with my peers.  Every year from the ECFC conferences, I take away my list of new regulations (good), my list of new ideas on how to better manage my business (great), and a list of new friends that I can add to my network for those moments when this business becomes especially challenging (Priceless).”

ECFC is on the leading edge of trends important to our business!  The first time I heard the phrase “Consumer Driven Health Care” was at the March, 1996 ECFC Conference.  Since that day, membership in ECFC has been our company’s most valuable resource as we have navigated the CDHC evolution.  At ECFC you get the information straight from the reg writers and the best minds in the industry.  Most importantly, you have a forum for your voice and the voices of your clients and participants.

If you can only attend one session of the ECFC conference, don’t miss the Technical Advisory Council.

ECFC is a tremendous organization for anyone involved in pretax benefits including TPAs, employers, agencies and more.  The conferences offer outstanding education opportunities along with an amazing network of peers and industry leaders.  The Technical Advisory Team provides outstanding guidance at the conferences, teleconferences and in the Flex Reporter.  The Flex Reporter is the best written summary of new rules and regulations I have seen in the industry.  ECFC is at the frontlines of keeping up with lobbying, regulations and making sure our voices and concerns are heard.  Keep up the great work!!!

ECFC conferences are absolutely the most important conferences I attend all year.  The March conference in DC provides insight into the direction of Congress and the Administration regarding relevant health care issues as well as agency (DOL, Treasury) direction and guidance.  The Annual conference provides the industry’s most knowledgeable speakers in addition to numerous networking opportunities—I always feel well informed of the issues most important to health care after attending an ECFC conference.

The ECFC Conference allows me to stay in touch with others in my industry who many are performing the same functions. It lets me know that we are not the only organization who experience unique problems. It is a great sounding board when visiting with other owners. Certain trend analysis begins to develop which is very helpful for future planning and trying to stay ahead of the game. Also it gives me time to have face-to-face time with many of our business partners who provide us with services.

Also, the knowledge gained from the conference is always helpful. Having Government official attend to inform us as what to expect as well as clarifying certain gray areas concerning compliance is invaluable.

Lastly, advocacy is so important today - maybe even more so than in the past. Politicians today are so party line oriented that they sometimes can only be influenced by knowing how their constituents really feel about issues. This does make them rethink their vote since that is how they will be re-elected.

That is why I feel the March conference is so important. If those from the past have lost touch, I understand why. ECFC has totally changed the past three years and those past members need to reconnect so that they can move forward organizationally.

There is a world of medicine coming to American businesses as a result of health care reform and the ECFC annual conference was the one I was not going to miss.  I received exactly what I was looking for.

The technical and regulatory information crucial to our business was delivered by Mr. John Hickman, Partner, Law Offices of Alston and Bird.  It doesn’t get any better.  It gives us the competitive edge.  John’s legislative committee along with the ECFC lobbying firm, MVC, spearheaded a strong message delivered to the Hill by the members and attendees.  End of use-it-or-lose -it may be very close.

It is very gratifying to be amongst professionals representing every aspect of the health care delivery system engaged in the legislative process.  That is what ECFC does.  I know first hand it makes a difference.

One of my favorite things about being a member of ECFC is knowing that I am making a difference for our businesses but most importantly for our customers and clients.  Through ECFC, I have had the experience of meeting Members of the House and Senate and have had the awesome opportunity to educate and advocate what we do for a living:  Help employees understand and utilize, to the fullest, their benefits which in turns promote health and allow employees to get the care they need.  ECFC and all of its members is one strong, loud voice that is being heard!
