2013 ECFC Annual Conference

WEATHER UPDATE

We have been carefully monitoring the weather forecast and flight cancellations throughout the U.S. and the D.C. area.

We are doing our best to ensure that the ECFC Annual Conference will go on as planned. However, as many of you have become aware, virtually all flights from airports into Washington, D.C., have been cancelled and it appears that the forecast is worsening. In addition, it appears that Congress may not be in session on Thursday, complicating scheduled Hill visits.

Although we anticipate that Wednesday’s schedule will go forward as planned, we expect that the rest of the conference will be a scaled-down version of the agenda.

We will do our best to make this conference a valuable experience for those who are able to join us, and know that we are working through the details of the impact of these events on our registrants, including registration fees.

This has been a very difficult situation, and we thank you for your understanding, and we will update you on additional developments as they become available.

This conference is focused on helping you participate in the advocacy of employer-provided benefits.

ECFC has been an active voice in Washington D.C. for over 30 years and is a recognized proponent of flexible compensation.
At this conference, you can ask your questions concerning flexible compensation plans during face-to-face meetings with your Congressional leaders during our planned trip to “The Hill”. ECFC will provide you with talking points and objectives to assist you in this activity.
ECFC is poised to gather information, formulate answers for questions, and give you the tools to improve your bottom line in these uncertain times.
ECFC is doing its part to be involved in the change process on behalf of our member organizations. The 32nd Annual Conference is designed to initiate and promote an exchange of ideas to formulate your future and lay the groundwork for continued, significant benefit changes to the employer health care system.
