Member Benefits and Services

The Employers Council on Flexible Compensation was founded more than 20 years ago by several Fortune 500 companies to promote defined contribution benefits. Over 80 percent of all large corporations offer flexible compensation for more than 20 million employees. Lobbying successes designed to protect flexible compensation are just one aspect of the benefits derived from membership in The Employers Council. The Council also serves as a valuable resource to providers of flexible compensation and is dedicated to keeping members informed about policy changes in Washington.

Flex Bulletins and Publications

Among the most valuable benefits are the Legislative Alerts and Bulletins to advise members on the latest technical and regulatory developments. Bulletins are sent to members for immediate attention. Flex references, such as the Question and Answer Book for Cafeteria Plan Administrators and Guidelines for Cafeteria Plan Administrators, are essential publications for benefit professionals. A newsletter, Capitol Letter, briefs members on current activities to keep the compensation executive on top of the latest trends.
