ECFC Letter to Senate Leader and Graham- Cassidy Sponsors

Today, ECFC sent a letter to Senate Leader, Mitch McConnel and the sponsors of the Graham-Cassidy legislation to reform the Affordable Care Act. The letter expressed ECFC support for the provisions to expand and support health savings accounts (HSAs). The letter also strongly urged its sponsors and the Senate leadership to add provisions that were part of earlier efforts to reform the Affordable Care Act (ACA) by delaying, or fully repealing, the excise tax on high-cost employer health plans established under the ACA—commonly referred to as the “Cadillac Tax”.
